The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro appears to be Razer’s foray into the PS5 controller market. The Wolverine V2 Pro may not be the most attractive controller out there due to its massive shape and misaligned analogue sticks, but it does offer a certain charm. It is available in white and black, matching the PS5’s color scheme. Additionally, Razer stated that the controller would cost gamers about $250 US and would feature its own exclusive HyperSPeed Wireless charging technology. There is no information about a formal release in India.
Razer’s Wolverine V2 Pro PS5 Controller Announced
Adaptive Triggers, an inbuilt speaker, and haptic feedback are things that are missing from the controller. The Wolverine V2 PS5 controller loses some points because of the lack of these functionalities. The touchpad and the standard menu buttons are included, though. Hyper Triggers, which effectively lock the triggers at a certain position and provide players faster reaction times in FPS games, will be included with the controllers, according to Razer, to make up for the absence of adaptable triggers. Additionally, there are four remappable buttons on the back of the controller, but given the price, this may not be the ideal option for Sony aficionados. When Razer unveiled the controller, precisely this occurred.
Razer received criticism from PS5 controller users on Twitter. Fans preferred the symmetrical placement of the analogue sticks on Sony’s controllers, which were unpopular due to their hefty design and offset analogue sticks.
The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is also compatible with the PC, so it makes sense to use it if you want to imitate the PS5’s feel and appearance on your computer. However, if you possess a PS5 and have experience with DualSense controllers, the Wolverine V2 Pro is not the right choice for you.
