Koo, an Indian microblogging service, has downloaded more than a million times in Brazil.

In Brazil, Koo receives over a million downloads. 48 hours after its introduction, the platform hit this milestone. Additionally, it intends to grow in other international markets.

Since Musk’s takeover, Twitter has been experiencing internal strife, which is shown in the frequent rollout and recalling of features like the “Official” designation and the Twitter Blue membership plan. Rival platforms are attempting to advertise their applications and get as many users as they can as people abandon Twitter. The Indian microblogging app Koo is one of these platforms. After being introduced to Brazil, the in-house platform announced on November 21, 2022, that it had already received over one million downloads there.

After being released in Brazil, Koo reached the million download milestone in less than 48 hours. The reception the platform has had in a foreign market suggests that it has room to expand. Koo also wants to broaden his business into other markets.

In a statement to the public, Koo said that “India’s multilingual microblogging platform, Koo app, was released in Brazil with the inclusion of the Portuguese language, making it available in 11 native languages presently.” In the past few days, the software even achieved the #1 spot in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

The Indian microblogging service Koo has declared its intention to hire the former Twitter workers who were let go by Elon Musk. Koo’s management declared earlier this month that the app had surpassed 50 million downloads overall.

Given that the platform was just introduced in 2020, the volume of downloads and the response from users throughout the world speak to the platform’s high level of service and promise. Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu are just a few of the ten languages that Koo is accessible in in India.
