During Dussehra this month, Jio launched its 5G beta tests in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. According to the business, consumers experienced speeds of 1Gbps during the beta tests. And now, earlier this week, Akash Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, began rolling out Jio True 5G-based WiFi services from the Nathdwara Temple in Rajasthan. The company will offer the Jio True 5G powered WiFi services to its users without charge as part of the Jio Welcome Offer.
According to Jio, current customers may receive the True 5G service for free while taking advantage of the Jio Welcome Offer. Before choosing the Jio True 5G services, non-Jio subscribers can test the service. The business claimed that its 5G services are not just for the wealthy or people living in large cities. Every individual, every residence, and every establishment in India need to have access to it.
Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited Chairman Akash Ambani stated, “At the Lord Srinath Ji temple and the holy city of Nathdwara, we have powered the first True 5G-enabled WiFi service today. This will enable us to power many more such places and provide them the opportunity to test out our offerings. Chennai is our newest city to be included in the Jio True 5G Welcome Offer, which we also warmly welcome.”
