Coming to mobile: An Open-World Assassin’s Creed Game
A new open-world action-RPG Assassin’s Creed game is shortly to be released on mobile devices, according to Ubisoft, which also revealed information about Assassin’s Creed Mirage. You cannot imagine our enthusiasm when the game developer announced that it would be the first open world AC game on smartphones. After that, let’s examine every aspect of Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade Announced
As you can see, there is no official name for the new AC game on mobile devices as of yet. Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is the name given to this mobile game right now, just like it will be for any future titles that join the franchise under Project Infinity.
The official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account published the reveal trailer for the next mobile title, and you can see it right here. The AC mobile game will be set in Ancient China, as you can see in the tweet’s text, and the environment looks really stunning in the teaser.
In addition to the trailer, Marc Alexis Côté, the VP Executive Producer for Assassin’s Creed at Ubisoft, revealed some important details for Codename Jade at the event. The first big highlight of the AC mobile game will be the fact that you can create your own characters, for the very first time in any of Ubisoft’s open-world games.
In Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, Côté added, “You’ll get the chance to do things like parkour atop the Great Wall of China, sneak through bustling cities, engage in intense combat, and discover the secrets, the vastness, of Ancient China.” Currently, Ubisoft has not provided a release date for this mobile game.
But that’s not all. Ubisoft also confirmed that it’s developing a separate AC mobile game in partnership with Netflix, which you’ll be able to access from the streaming app. The two titans are also developing a live-action TV series based on the Assassin’s Creed franchise, which I hope will be superior to the film version.
