Amazon has launched an ad-supported free video streaming service, called MiniTV within the Amazon India app. To be clear, it is different from the Amazon Prime Video service as it is present within the Amazon shopping app instead of being a standalone video streaming app. However, the ‘MiniTV’ free video streaming is only available for Android and it isn’t available for iOS at the moment. It comes as a competitor to the Walmart-owned Flipkart Video streaming service that was launched back in 2019.
