A new edit button is being rolled out by Threads. You may modify your posts using the new edit button within five minutes after publication. A new voice threads function is also being introduced by the business.
The release of two new features has been announced for Meta’s Threads. An edit button is the first feature, while voice threads are the second. Users can modify posts using the edit button, as the name implies. However, users may record and upload their voice to the site using the new voice threads function.
With the new edit button, you can edit your posts within five minutes after publishing them. It will help you to fix mistakes that you made while posting.
How to edit posts on Threads
Step 1: Go to the post or reply that you want to edit.
Step 2: Tap on the three dots menu present in the top right corner of the post.
Step 3: Now, you will see a new Edit button. Click on it.
Step 4: You can now edit your post.
You may record your voice note and upload it using the new voice threads function. In order for your followers to read or listen to that thread, the platform will even transcribe that voice.
Tap the microphone icon to start a voice thread or to leave a voice message for someone. Press and hold the record button or tap it once the recorder appears to start recording.
Users may now move between numerous Threads profiles on mobile, according to a recent announcement from Threads. The option to follow a thread by turning on alerts for 24 hours without following the account, as well as the capability to cite other online articles, were also two new capabilities for Threads that Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri disclosed.
Additionally, Threads only recently made its keyword search function available in India. Both the online version and the mobile app have access to this functionality. For those who are unaware, users may search for posts on Threads using the keyword search option.
