WhatsApp’s Premium Subscription Plan will soon allow businesses to create custom links.

While WhatsApp was once a premium software for iOS users, the firm has now shifted to a freeware model. However, the Meta-owned messaging giant is now aiming to provide a “WhatsApp Premium” subscription package for corporate customers (optional) with unique features including enhanced multi-device compatibility and the opportunity to build customised domain names for their accounts. Take a look at the details below.

WhatsApp to Soon Let Businesses Create Custom Domain Names

We noticed indications of WhatsApp testing a new corporate membership plan earlier this year, which will provide companies with special capabilities on the messaging network. According to the previous Rumohr, WhatsApp business customers will be able to add up to ten devices to their corporate accounts, according to reliable WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo.

Now, in a recent reportWABetaInfo has discovered that WhatsApp’s upcoming Premium plan for businesses will let users create “wa.me” custom domain names via which customers would be able to directly message to their WhatsApp accounts.

The domain name will be in the “wa.me/” format, making it a great contact option for potential customers to use on a company website. The screenshots posted below provide a sneak peek at the impending functionality.

Business users will be allowed to alter their personalized business link for their WhatsApp accounts every 90 days after creating it. And, because the specialized URLs are exclusive to companies, it will always establish a secure business account on WhatsApp.

The availability of the future WhatsApp Premium membership plan is now under development on WhatsApp Business beta for iOS, Android, and desktop, according to WABetaInfo. Furthermore, the source assured us that the plan will be elective for company owners rather than forced. Users may continue to use WhatsApp Business and the regular chat app for free.
