According to a well-known WhatsApp tipster blog, WABetaInfo, the messaging network is working on a feature that would allow suspended channels to specify a review reason.

Channel owners will most likely be able to pick between four options: Some updates were misinterpreted; this channel adheres to all Channel Guidelines; such updates should be permitted; and this channel should not be terminated.

The “Some updates were misunderstood” option will allow channel owners to indicate that some changes or material were misread. The “This channel follows all Channel Guidelines” option, on the other hand, will most likely give admins the ability to assert that their content complies with WhatsApp’s guidelines, emphasising compliance to correct any potential oversights or errors in the suspension, which may have been automated by an algorithm.

When the channel owner believes that the suspended material is within acceptable parameters and matches with the company’s rules, the “Updates like these should be allowed” option will be useful.

The “This channel should not be closed” option may be useful for channel owners who think their suspension is unjust or includes unusual circumstances; they can use this option to request a reevaluation. This option is also a simple solution for channel owners who are unsure about the grounds for their channel’s suspension.
