The Kerala government intends to determine a drone lab in Thiruvananthapuram so as to mitigate potential drone-related threats. the event comes just each day after Army Chief MM Naravane reportedly stated that the straightforward availability of drones has increased the country’s security challenges.

According to a recent ANI report, Kerala captain DGP Anil Kant announced the government’s plans to line up a drone lab and drone forensic lab during a press meet on Friday. The lab are going to be found out together with the Cyberdome of the Kerala Police. Fort the uninitiated, Cyberdome may be a technological research and development center of the Kerala local department .
“Of late, drones have emerged as another emerging threat which will pose a significant technological threat to cities also . we’ve taken note of it, and that we are establishing a Drone lab and a Drone Forensic Lab,” Kerala captain Anil Kant said.
Aside from the drone lab , Kerala Police is brooding about implementing an anti-drone system. As of now, the precise capabilities of this technique are unknown. “We shall develop an anti-drone system with the assistance of our volunteers at Cyberdrome and other experts within the field,” he explained.
As per a PTI report (via The News Minute), Kerala’s DGP also mentioned that the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) within the state would be strengthened. Furthermore, efforts are going to be made to extend the social media presence of the force to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
