For the majority of our generation—that is, Gen Z and even those who want to be—Instagram is the go-to app. It’s possible that it’s one of the most widely used social networking sites in our time, and Instagram is aware of it. Instagram has revealed new forthcoming capabilities for the platform in an effort to better serve the Gen Z demographic on the network. These were unveiled during a recent product education session hosted at Meta’s Gurugram headquarters to commemorate Instagram’s 13th birthday on October 6th, and they are primarily targeted at Gen Z. I’d like to learn more about this, so let’s investigate.

Birthdays

Well, so this isn’t entirely novel. Facebook has our sincere gratitude for providing us with birthday reminders for our loved ones. Thus, Instagram is now introducing it to its network. There is a problem with Meta and homogenising all the platforms. The Instagram function will notify a user’s friends and followers on their birthday. You may use confetti and stickers to add even more special touches to the celebration.

Audio Notes

We use audio notes when we’re too lazy or don’t have the time to type. Do we not? Although voice communications are currently possible on Instagram, we will also be able to leave audio messages in the notes area once the new function is activated. Yes, the highest one.

Selfie Video Notes

You may record a little video as a note that will remain there for a whole day, just like you can with audio notes. WhatsApp has now released a function along these lines.

Multiple Lists in Stories

You know how on Instagram we have these tales that we can only tell our “close friends”? Instagram is going to start introducing several lists for your stories in light of that. You may create one for each of your loved ones, coworkers, and friends, and you can share just the information you want with the individuals you choose.
